PERSIAN STRIKERETRIBUTION

A rotary-wing strike war in the 16-bit tradition, crossed with a base you found, feed, and defend β€” flown from one cockpit.

Coming soon to Windows PC
Alternate history

The war that never happened.

A 1990s that never was. In the Republic of Parsava β€” a fictional country on the Gulf β€” the oil, the radars, and the television all answer to Marshal Rashid al-Ghazi, a foreign-born strongman ruling Persian soil. When his Guard fired on protesters, one battleship's crew stopped taking orders. Every name in this war tells you whose side it's on β€” ours speak Persian, his wear the regime's borrowed styling β€” the music is contraband, the state news calls us pirates, and the villages cheer when we fly over.

Spring β€” Operation Tondbad

THE MUTINY

High noon in the Gulf of Simorgh: the admiral walks the plank, the Simorgh runs up the tricolor, and the squadron raises a beachhead on the regime's own coast β€” block by block, under a sky full of dust. By spring's end, the coast is ours.

Campaign I β€” Operation Tondbad β†’
The liberated eastern shore of the strait, ports rebuilt and lanes reopened
Summer β€” Operation Tangeh

THE STRAIT

The Marshal and his foreign backers close Tangeh-ye Hormoz, and Bandar-e Azadi holds out on rations and salvage. Carry the revolution port by port, break open the Zendan, and get the enriched material out without turning the coast to glass. The strait opens.

Campaign II β€” Operation Tangeh β†’

Autumn β€” Operation Shahin

WORLD WAR

The reformed USSR and Pyongyang pick their side, and the word nobody wanted finally gets said out loud. On the Caspian front the relay war decides who owns the sky while an armored train prowls the coastal rails. Then the snow starts falling β€” and doesn't stop for three winters.

Campaign III β€” Operation Shahin β†’
Snowbound Parsava at peace, the tricolor flying over a quiet checkpoint
Winter β€” Operation Azadi Β· Three winters later

FIRST LIGHT

Three years on, the Azadi movement is the government of Parsava β€” and al-Ghazi has wrapped the old capital in a war machine that fights on without him. Four contingents. One wall. Twenty-two minutes on the silo clock. At first light: Parsava is free.

Campaign IV β€” Operation Azadi β†’
The airframe

Meet the bird.

She hauls the crew, slings the blocks, fires the rockets, and brings the tapes home. Whatever the war needs next, it arrives under her rotors.

The doctrine

Fly the mouse. Found the base. Feed the war.

Desert Strike's cockpit welded to a Command & Conquer economy β€” and the helicopter is the only cursor you get.

ONE COCKPIT, WHOLE WAR

You never order a unit. You deliver the war: sling-load the crew, the blocks, the guns. Once a building stands, its production runs itself.

The beachhead claim beside the surf, pad and walls staked out

BUILT BLOCK BY BLOCK

Drop a tarp of loose blocks and a work crew, and watch the building physically go up. Barracks replace their own dead. Every wall you raise was flown in by you.

A camp drowned in orange dust storm, searchlights cutting the murk

WEATHER IS A COMBATANT

Kilometer-wide dust walls on a live wind field. Gulf thunderstorms that surge the tide. Fog seas, ground blizzards, flash floods down the wadi. None of it is a skybox.

The battleship bow cutting turquoise water, the gunship alongside

THE LIVING SEA

Calm mornings flatten to glass and mirror your rotors; fronts stand the swell up and rip spray off the wave tops. The sea stops bullets, floats the fleet, and obeys the tide.

Two Bandargah buildings caught mid-collapse, blocks airborne, drones crossing overhead

DESTRUCTIBLE ENVIRONMENTS

Every building, bridge, ship, and tower breaks for real β€” and the regime hides caches and stay-behind guns in the rubble. Demolition is a gamble worth taking.

The Bandar wall battery at dusk, drone swarm overhead and incoming fire streaking in

THE LIVING WAR

Watchtower searchlights hunt. Burning oil slicks race their fire fronts downwind. Tides drain the bar, flash floods scour the wadi, caravans keep walking. The war runs whether you show up or not.

The POL-E AZADI bridge tower rising over the causeway in the rain

TALL STEEL IS A WALL

Bridge towers and high-rises aren't painted backdrop β€” they have mass, and your rotors know it. Scrape one at speed and you'll limp home counting rivets.

CONTRABAND TAPES

The soundtrack is smuggled in crate by crate β€” banned music for a banned squadron. Choose your tunes. Fly the mission. Bring the tape home.
