Old formats, reformatted.
Reformat Games is an independent studio with a soft spot for the machines and genres the industry left behind — cartridge-era strike games, cassette mixtapes, and action movies that play it 90% straight. PERSIAN STRIKE: RETRIBUTION is our love letter to all three: a Desert Strike–style rotary-wing war, rebuilt with a living battlefield and a base you raise block by block. It is built in the Godot Engine and it ships when it's done.
A work of fiction. PERSIAN STRIKE: RETRIBUTION is set in an alternate-history 1990s in the fictional Republic of Parsava. All names, characters, places, factions, flags, and events are fictional. The game depicts no real state, government, armed force, organization, or person, and any resemblance to real ones, living or dead, is coincidental. The game's factions and their symbols are inventions of the fiction and imply no political statement about, or endorsement by, any real-world nation or movement.
